I received a BA in Sustainable Development from Columbia University (2016) prior to completing my MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford (2017).
For my MSc research, I worked with local conservation organizations in Colombia to develop a participatory monitoring and evaluation program to measure the climate adaptation benefits from a coffee agroforestry project in the Department of Nariño.
After graduating, I was a Research Analyst for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network USA developing indicators to monitor the Sustainable Development Goals at the US city and state scales. Subsequently, I served as the Sustained Climate Assessment Specialist for the Consortium for Climate Risk in the Urban Northeast (CCRUN), a NOAA RISA program, where I worked with New York City and State governments on participatory climate adaptation planning.
As a doctoral student at CU Boulder, I am currently researching ecosystem-based adaptation strategies to address wildfire risk in the Intermountain West.
